Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your skills in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and equipment operation. You will be responsible for supporting various landscaping projects, ensuring that all grounds are healthy, attractive, and safe. Whether you're trimming, planting, or operating power tools, your efforts will directly contribute to the aesthetic appeal and functionality of outdoor environments. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep grounds vibrant and well-kept Operate hand tools and power equipment including trimmers, blowers, lawn mowers, and other landscaping machinery safely and efficiently Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying materials, and performing basic installation tasks Identify plants, shrubs, trees, and pests to ensure proper horticultural care and pest management Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and performing routine adjustments Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Support pesticide management procedures when necessary to protect plant health while adhering to safety standards Skills Mechanical knowledge for operating landscaping equipment and troubleshooting minor issues Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, and groundskeeping practices Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape materials Ability to identify various plants, pests, and signs of disease in outdoor environments Knowledge of pesticide management techniques in accordance with safety regulations Outdoor work experience demonstrating stamina and adaptability in changing weather conditions Strong understanding of safety protocols related to equipment operation and outdoor work environments This position is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about outdoor work who want to develop their skills in landscaping while contributing to beautiful community spaces.
