Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Technician to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty and health of various outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, functional, and visually appealing. Your expertise will help create vibrant landscapes that inspire and delight, all while adhering to safety standards and environmental best practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your landscaping skills, and contribute to community beautification projects. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep grounds healthy and attractive Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, power tools, and irrigation systems with precision and safety Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and pest management Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of landscapes Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to protect plants from pests and diseases Assist with hardscape projects including the installation of pathways, retaining walls, or decorative features Follow all safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools Proven experience in landscape maintenance and gardening practices Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant identification and soil health management Ability to operate groundskeeping machinery safely and efficiently Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting Hands-on experience with lawn care techniques such as mowing, edging, aeration, and fertilization Understanding of pesticide management protocols and safety standards for outdoor work environments Join us if you're passionate about outdoor work, eager to learn new skills in landscaping technology, and committed to maintaining beautiful landscapes that make a lasting impact!
