In this role, you will actively contribute to landscape projects by performing a variety of hands-on tasks that enhance the aesthetic and health of residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios or walkways. Perform routine lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy, attractive lawns. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, pruning, aerating, and installing irrigation systems. Conduct landscape maintenance activities including watering, mulching, pruning trees and shrubs, and seasonal clean-up. Support construction projects by operating equipment such as excavators or other machinery under supervision to assist with site preparation or hardscape installation. Maintain safety standards by inspecting tools and equipment regularly and adhering to safety protocols during all tasks. Assist with snow plowing or winter maintenance duties when seasonal conditions require extra support. Qualifications Prior experience or knowledge of landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential. Mechanical knowledge or experience operating power tools, hand tools, or construction equipment such as excavators is highly advantageous. Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Basic understanding of landscape maintenance practices including irrigation systems, tree care (trimming and planting), gardening techniques, and snow removal procedures. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality work standards. Valid driver's license may be preferred for operating larger equipment or transporting materials.
