About the Role Derivative Logistics is the operations and ground support arm of a growing vehicle rental and logistics business operating across Maryland. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Ground Support Specialist to help manage day-to-day vehicle movement, servicing, and field support. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, comfortable driving different vehicles, and can represent a professional business in the field without constant supervision. Key Responsibilities Drive rental vehicles between locations throughout Maryland Transport vehicles to and from service and maintenance appointments Perform basic roadside assistance tasks (jump starts, tire changes, lockouts, vehicle checks) Conduct vehicle inspections and document condition with photos and notes Coordinate with service providers, tow companies, and vendors as needed Represent Derivative Logistics professionally during appointments and interactions Support ad-hoc operational tasks as they arise Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable driving multiple vehicle types (sedans, SUVs, etc.) Reliable transportation to job sites when not driving company vehicles Strong communication and time-management skills Ability to follow checklists and document work accurately Comfortable working independently and problem-solving in the field Nice to Have (Not Required): Basic automotive knowledge Roadside assistance or fleet experience Flexible weekday availability Compensation Competitive hourly pay + potential for bonuses Mileage reimbursement when applicable Opportunity for increased hours and responsibility as the business scales Why Work With Us Flexible schedule No micromanagement — results matter Growing company with long-term opportunity Be part of a lean, professional operation (not a gig app) How to Apply Send a brief message or resume including: Your availability Any relevant driving, fleet, or roadside experience Your general location in
