Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming to keep grounds pristine and well-manicured Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, pruning, aerating, and other gardening activities Maintain lawns through fertilization, watering, aeration, and weed control to promote healthy growth Manage irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and adjusting schedules as needed to ensure proper watering Conduct regular gardening activities such as planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and seasonal displays to enhance visual appeal Perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance Assist with landscape design projects by preparing soil beds and installing new plantings or features Experience Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is required Familiarity with irrigation systems, lawn care practices, and landscaping techniques is advantageous Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, and hoes confidently and safely Experience using power tools like trimmers, blowers, or lawnmowers is required Knowledge of horticultural principles including plant care, soil preparation, and pest management is beneficial Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols during equipment operation and maintenance Enthusiasm for outdoor work and a proactive attitude toward landscape upkeep are highly valued Embark on a rewarding journey maintaining vibrant outdoor spaces that inspire.
