Responsibilities include a variety of tasks in the maintenance and care of parks, athletic fields, trails, landscape beds, playgrounds and public lands, operating power and automotive equipment in the performance of required work tasks. For more detailed job descriptions, please visit the Town's Job Descriptions page . HS diploma/GED, minimum 18 years old. Two years experience in horticultural and/or grounds maintenance. Ability to operate mechanized maintenance equipment and vehicles. Possession of valid driver's license. Pesticide applicators certification, or obtained within eighteen months of hire. CPR and First Aid certification, or obtain within 90 days of hire. Five years in horticultural and/or grounds maintenance experience. Ability to use the computer running basic operating programs. Electrician's license or plumbing certification.
