About us Hurst Landworks is an innovative forestry company. If you enjoy working in a team of hardworking, competent coworkers then apply to this position. Hurst Landworks is an equal opportunity employer. We are seeking a skilled Groundsperson to join our team with forestry and Right of Way experience. As a Groundsperson you are responsible for safe operation of equipment, daily maintenance of tools and quality production standards.
Duties:
- Operate and maintain chainsaws.
- Safe falling of trees.
- Show up consistently and on time to working area.
- Follow specifications to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Communicate with public and team members.
Qualifications:
- Forestry experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Strong work ethic
