Job Overview Join our dynamic landscape maintenance team as a Landscape Crew Member and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in all seasons, applying your skills in groundskeeping, landscaping, and equipment operation. You'll contribute to the aesthetic appeal and health of various landscapes by performing maintenance tasks with precision and care. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive grounds. Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and snow plows safely and efficiently. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed. Conduct plant identification to select appropriate plants for different environments and perform pest management following safety protocols. Maintain hardscape features like walkways, patios, and retaining walls, ensuring they are clean and in good repair. Assist with tree trimming, shrubbery care, and seasonal snow removal to keep outdoor spaces safe and visually appealing. Follow safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents during outdoor work activities. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping and groundskeeping equipment operation. Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, and groundskeeping practices. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation or repair. Ability to identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests; knowledge of horticulture principles is a plus. Familiarity with pesticide management procedures and safety protocols for outdoor chemical use. Previous outdoor work experience demonstrating reliability in physically demanding environments. Knowledge of snow plowing techniques and tree trimming best practices for seasonal tasks.
