Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery using hand tools and power tools. Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to ensure healthy, attractive turf. Maintain landscape features by pruning trees and shrubs, trimming hedges, and performing tree care activities. Operate equipment like excavators, skid steers, and other machinery safely for site preparation and hardscape installation. Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure efficient watering of landscaped areas. Conduct general landscape maintenance including debris removal, mulching, and seasonal snow plowing when necessary. Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools to complete daily tasks efficiently and safely. Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge to operate landscaping equipment and tools effectively. Prior experience or familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks. Knowledge of landscaping techniques including hardscape construction and horticulture principles. Experience operating machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment is a plus. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to power tools, hand tools, and machinery use. Willingness to learn new skills related to tree care, irrigation systems, snow plowing, or other specialized landscaping tasks.
