Job Description
Lake Ridge Golf Course , located in Woodbridge, VA , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Grounds Crew Member ! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Compensation:
$15.00- $18.
Summary:
The Grounds Crew Member is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance of the golf course.Responsibilities:
Maintains clean and organized works areas on the golf course and maintenance facility Mows greens, aprons, fairways, roughs, tees, and other areas Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as needed Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds Applies pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to the golf course Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or managerQualifications and Skills:
Must possess the ability to design, coordinate and maintain landscaping on the golf course Experience with operating greens/fairway mowers preferred Must possess the ability to create spray programs for the golf course including greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and landscaping Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course operations Ability to give oral and written instructions Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation Must be dependableBenefits & Other Compensation:
