Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Property Maintenance and Landscaper professional, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and beautifying commerical and residential outdoor spaces throughout the different Vermont seasons. This energetic position involves performing a variety of landscaping, gardening, and maintenance tasks to ensure properties are safe, functional, and visually appealing. You will work with a team, a range of tools and equipment, and be contributing to the overall upkeep and enhancement of residential or commercial landscapes. Responsibilities Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep lawns healthy and attractive Maintain landscapes through planting, pruning, tree trimming, shrubbery care, and seasonal gardening tasks Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes efficiently and safely for various landscaping projects Perform snow plowing, shoveling, operate a snow blower, salting, and snow removal during winter months to ensure safe access for properties Carry out routine property maintenance tasks like fence repairs, removing hazardous limbs or trees when necessary, garbage and dumster site clean ups, and general site cleanup Skills Experience with driving a pick-up truck with a trailer, mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate a variety of landscaping machinery and construction equipment (must have valid drivers license) Proficiency in landscape maintenance practices such as planting, pruning, horticulture principles, and garden design Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for landscaping and property upkeep Ability to perform tree care activities including trimming, pruning, planting or removal with safety awareness Familiarity with snow plowing/shoveling operations for winter maintenance services Good understanding of property maintenance routines and general site improvements Good at taking direction from a supervisor and being part of a maintenance team Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail in maintaining high standards of property appearance and safety. Pay:
