WHO WE ARE
At SourceAmerica, we are committed to serving as a connector for people with disabilities and veterans. We are currently recruiting talent on behalf of our nonprofit network member AtWork! who has a position for a Landscaping Laborer! This position is part of the AbilityOne Program. Candidates selected to be an AbilityOne participating employee must provide documentation verifying a qualifying significant disability, as required by U.S. AbilityOne Commission policies.
WHY THIS ROLE STANDS OUT
As a Landscape crew member, you will work independently to perform a variety of landscaping maintenance work for our federal customer, including raking, mowing, edging, pruning, and weeding. You will ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service possible, playing a key role in ensuring that buildings and shared spaces are ready to be enjoyed by all.
WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION
Monday - Friday, 5:30am - 2pm. This position will start the work day in Issaquah, where you will pick up equipment and ride in a work truck to the customer location in the greater Seattle area.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Perform various landscaping maintenance duties on customer contracts as specified. Demonstrate proper use of landscaping equipment, materials, and supplies. Coordinate workflow with guidance from Crew Supervisor to ensure completion of contract requirements and deadlines. Observe all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
WHAT YOU BRING
Ability to operate a gas mower, line trimmer, rake, and hoe. Ability to work for extended periods of time, outdoors in all weather conditions. Demonstrated ability to complete job tasks. Reliable attendance.
COMPENSATION
This position pays $23.07/hour.
