Job Summary Join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team as a Ground Crew Member, where you will play a vital role in supporting tree care and land management projects. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills in arboriculture, horticulture, and land improvement. You will assist with tree trimming, pruning, rigging, and other landscaping tasks to ensure safe and beautiful outdoor spaces. This paid position is perfect for individuals passionate about outdoor work, growing their expertise in tree care and land management. Duties Assist with tree removal, pruning, and trimming using proper arborist rigging techniques and chainsaws Operate equipment Support land clearing activities including stump grinding Implement plant pruning care to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Follow safety protocols rigorously during all outdoor operations to prevent accidents and ensure team safety Perform routine inspections of work sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards Experience Prior outdoor work experience preferred, especially in landscaping, horticulture, or arboriculture Knowledge of tree care practices including tree trimming, pruning, and removal techniques Experience operating bucket trucks or similar aerial lift equipment is a plus Familiarity with rigging procedures for safe tree removal and branch handling Hands-on experience with chainsaws, pruning tools, and other landscaping equipment Understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments Growing experience in horticulture or dendrology (the study of trees) is advantageous This role offers an exciting chance to develop your skills in tree care, land management, and outdoor maintenance while contributing to the health and beauty of green spaces. Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
