Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Mower/Landscaper to join our outdoor maintenance team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing residential and commercial landscapes through various lawn care, gardening, and landscape maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical knowledge, and be capable of operating a variety of landscaping tools and equipment to ensure high-quality results. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, contributing to beautiful and well-maintained landscapes. Responsibilities Mow lawns using commercial and residential mowers, ensuring even cuts and healthy turf Perform landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, trimming trees, and shrubbery care Operate hand tools such as trimmers, edgers, shovels, rakes, and pruning shears for various landscaping tasks Use power tools safely for tasks like edging, aerating, and installing landscape features Maintain irrigation systems including installation, repairs, and seasonal adjustments Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for properties Execute hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls when needed Assist with construction projects related to landscape improvements or installations Perform general maintenance on equipment such as lawnmowers, excavators, and other machinery to ensure optimal operation Support tree care activities including trimming, removal, or planting as required Requirements Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or related outdoor work preferred Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools necessary for efficient operation Familiarity with gardening practices and horticulture principles Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively in various outdoor conditions Experience with excavators or construction equipment is a plus but not mandatory Knowledge of irrigation systems and snow plowing techniques is advantageous Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual labor outdoors for extended periods Valid driver's license preferred for equipment transportation or property access purposes Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced outdoor environment This role is ideal for individuals passionate about outdoor aesthetics and landscape care who are eager to develop their skills across various aspects of horticulture and construction-related tasks.
