Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor environments through various landscaping tasks, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a range of tools and equipment, and contribute to the beauty of our hotels - and thus, our guests' experience. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and watering to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health management Manage irrigation systems for optimal watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Apply pesticides responsibly following safety protocols to control pests and protect plant health Execute hardscape projects including installation of pathways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures Maintain safety standards by adhering to all safety protocols during outdoor work activities Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and power tools Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture practices, and lawn care techniques Experience operating irrigation systems and grounds equipment such as excavators or snow plows is a plus Ability to follow safety procedures diligently while working with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in outdoor environments Valid driver's license; construction experience or tree care knowledge is advantageous Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into stunning landscapes!
