Job Description

Landscape Technician D&D Excavating and Landscape Service Inc is currently looking to hire a landscape technician for our growing company. We have been in the landscape and excavating business for over 50 years. We install trees, shrubs, lawns, patios and retaining walls, and MORE; we also maintain landscapes throughout the Fox Valley. Candidate requirements and skills:
  • Detailed oriented self-starter with experience of at least two to three seasons of landscaping is preferred.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, crew, and designer.
  • Have a GREAT work ethic, problem solving skills, dependable and ability to meet or exceed schedule and maintain a high quality of work.
  • Able to prioritize and multi-task. Ensure safety rules and company safety policies.
  • Operate tools and equipment needed for the projects.
  • Willing to be trained into certain areas of operation.
This job position is Full-Time, and we are looking for multiple candidates. Please message us or stop in to grab an application if you are interested! Knowledge of hardscape applications, proper planting techniques, ability to read and understand blue prints/landscape designs, and understanding proper care of landscapes is a plus.
Winter Season:
When the landscape season ends, we plow and shovel snow on multiple commercial properties. You can expect snow removal work throughout the winter.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
