Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Mower Operator to join our outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining pristine fairways, tee boxes, roughs and greens by operating various groundskeeping equipment, primarily lawn mowers. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, beauty, and health of golf course. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, apply your landscaping skills, and contribute to a well-maintained, attractive golf course. Responsibilities Operate lawn mowers and other grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently to achieve high-quality turf and landscape care. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to promote healthy plant growth. Use hand tools and power tools such as hedge trimmers, pruners, and blowers for detailed landscaping work. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health management. Assist with irrigation system installation, inspection, and repairs to maintain optimal watering schedules. Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Support additional groundskeeping duties such as tree trimming, hardscape maintenance, and minor landscaping projects as needed. Qualifications Proven outdoor work experience with grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred. Mechanical knowledge of lawn care equipment and power tools is essential. Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including mowing. Knowledge of pesticide management and safety procedures related to chemical application is a plus. Experience operating groundskeeping machinery such as excavators or skid steers is advantageous but not required. Strong adherence to safety protocols with a focus on outdoor work environments. Excellent physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting heavy equipment or materials for extended periods. Join us in creating beautiful outdoor spaces!
