Landscape Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Landscape Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through a variety of landscaping, gardening, and groundskeeping tasks. Responsibilities Perform lawn care duties including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure healthy and attractive turf. Maintain landscape features by pruning trees and shrubs, trimming hedges, and performing tree care such as trimming and planting. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as planting, edging, and installing landscape features. Execute landscape maintenance tasks including weeding, mulching, watering, and seasonal clean-up activities like snow plowing during winter months. Assist with hardscape projects such as installing patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Support irrigation system installation, repairs, and adjustments to ensure efficient watering of landscapes. Conduct routine inspections of landscapes to identify issues requiring maintenance or repair; perform necessary corrective actions promptly. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools. Experience with lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices. Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction equipment. Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant health, soil preparation, and tree care. Ability to perform landscaping tasks such as mowing, tree trimming, gardening, and snow plowing effectively. Familiarity with hardscape installation methods and irrigation systems. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when needed. $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
