Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Apartment Groundskeeper and play a vital role in maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of our residential community's outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves caring for lawns, gardens, trees, and hardscape features while ensuring the grounds are inviting and well-kept. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike, contributing to the overall appeal and value of our community. General multi-family maintenance knowledge is encouraged, but not required. Summary of Duties Maintain the appearance of trees, bushes, and rock beds across the property. Ensure all grounds are consistently free of trash, litter, and debris. Plant, water, and care for flower beds and potted plants, including occassional special projects. Manage quarterly and annual groundskeeping schedules, ensuring work is completed with care and precision. Perform minor snow clean-up and removal during winter months. Assist maintenance and painting staff with various property projects as needed. Conduct specialized landscaping tasks, such as reworking grading or installing rock features to improve drainage. Collaborative with team members on project planning and scheduling. Operate and help maintain equipment, such as maintenance carts, to ensure efficient property care. Requirements Must be motivated with a positive, "Can-Do" attitude! Strong background in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture. Ability to perform lawn care tasks such as edging, regrading, planting, etc. Construction experience or familiarity with hardscape installation can be advantageous for certain projects. Physical ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions; comfort operating heavy machinery is a plus. Able to perform occassional heavy lifting (50-75 lbs). Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to grounds maintenance and safety protocols. Commitment to following all safety standards and job expectations. Pay:
