In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes through expert gardening, mowing, and landscape maintenance techniques. Your energy and attention to detail will help create vibrant, healthy environments that inspire and delight. Whether working on residential, commercial, or public spaces, you'll play a vital role in transforming outdoor areas into lush, inviting landscapes that stand out. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in horticulture and landscaping while making a tangible impact on the environment. Looking for experienced applicants. Responsibilities Perform mowing using power tools such as lawn mowers and trimmers to ensure well-manicured lawns and turf areas. Maintain landscape features including flower beds, shrubs, trees, and lawns with precision gardening techniques. Apply horticultural practices such as planting, pruning, fertilizing, and pest control to promote plant growth. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for landscape maintenance tasks. Support greenhouse activities by planting seedlings, transplanting young plants, and managing plant health. Conduct regular landscape inspections to identify issues related to lawn care, plant health, or irrigation needs. Collaborate with team members to execute landscape projects that enhance aesthetic appeal and sustainability. Skills Strong knowledge of horticulture principles including gardening, landscaping, and plant care. Growing experience in greenhouse environments or outdoor planting projects. Proficiency in lawn care techniques using both hand tools and power tools. Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices such as pruning, fertilizing, aerating, and pest management. Ability to operate farming or agricultural equipment safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to follow safety protocols during tool operation. Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
