Job Description

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking Seasonal Grounds Crew members to join our team. As part of the grounds crew, you will primarily be responsible for mowing and providing general care for our golf course. This is a seasonal position with flexible hours, but candidates must be available early mornings, have some weekend availability and be willing to work 35-45 hours per week. This is a great opportunity to work outside in a friendly, fast-paced working environment. All applicants must be available now thru October. Whichever candidate we hire will have the first opportunity at a position on our crew for next season.
Responsibilities:
Perform mowing and trimming tasks to maintain the appearance and health of the golf course. Assist in general maintenance duties, including but not limited to: watering, weeding, edging, and debris removal. Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Follow instructions from the grounds supervisor to ensure tasks are completed effectively and on time. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times. Lift at least 50 pounds and demonstrate a strong attention to detail. Work well in a group setting, as well as complete tasks working alone.
Knowledge and Skills:
Prior experience in groundskeeping or landscaping preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of lawn care techniques and equipment operation. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills and willingness to take direction.
Education and Training:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license required.
