Job Description

Landscape Technician - Crew Member 347 180th Street, Osceola, WI 54020 Seasonal, Full-time Seasonal, Full-time Full Time and Seasonal Positions Available Depending Upon Qualifications & Hours Desired Position Overview Landscape Technicians are responsible for implementing landscape projects on residential and commercial properties. They work as part of the team to complete landscape enhancement projects, landscape maintenance, irrigation installation and repair, excavating and site preparation and snow removal under Foreman's supervision. Technicians have an excellent understanding and implementation of the word Team. They are able to operate or show a willingness to safely operate a variety of small and heavy equipment.
Knowledge and Experience:
Must have strong work ethic, be self-motivated, honest and trustworthy Ability to participate and communicate with other team members Show enthusiasm and care to customers and other team members Clean driving record with ability to operate vehicles with trailers attached. Small power equipment experience required (mowers, chain saws, weed whip, sod cutters, edgers, gators, lawn mowers, etc.) All team members are responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including work site and equipment Ability to show strong leadership skills on job sites with limited supervision Strong oral and written communication skills, math skills and problem solving skills Willingness to obtain a CDL a plus Snow Removal Experience a plus
Primary Duties:
Lift 50+ lbs. and work in various weather conditions Perform landscape enhancement projects, such as cleaning and creation of mulch and rock beds, planting annuals and perennials, installation of patios and retaining walls, lawn installation and maintenance, spring and fall clean-ups, pruning, lawn mowing Operation of small equipment and hand tools needed to perform various maintenance and installation duties Operation of truck and trailer combination to and from work locations Take care and maintain all equipment and report damage and maintenance needs Communicate with customers by answering their questions and listening to their concerns during a project and reporting the information to the supervisor Perform time management techniques and make suggestions to supervisor to increase productivity
