Part-Time Grounds Maintenance & Material Yard AssociatePosition Summary We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated Part-Time Grounds Maintenance & Material Yard Associate to help maintain our facility grounds and organize our material storage yard. This position is responsible for keeping the property clean, safe, and well-maintained throughout the year. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining an organized work environment, can work independently, and is comfortable performing physical labor in a variety of weather conditions. Key Responsibilities Perform routine lawn care, including mowing, trimming, edging, and watering as needed. Control weeds in landscaped areas, fence lines, parking lots, and material storage areas. Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, parking lots, entrances, and other designated areas during winter months. Collect and dispose of trash and debris from the property to maintain a clean and professional appearance. Organize and maintain inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies in the material yard. Stack, move, and store materials safely using proper lifting techniques and equipment when applicable. Inspect grounds and yard regularly to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards. Assist with seasonal property maintenance, including leaf removal, landscaping projects, and general upkeep. Perform basic maintenance on lawn and grounds equipment and report equipment repairs when needed. Follow company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment. Perform other general labor and facility maintenance duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, construction, or general labor is preferred but not required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Basic knowledge of lawn care and grounds maintenance practices. Ability to safely operate lawn maintenance equipment such as mowers, string trimmers, blowers, and snow removal equipment. Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain an organized material yard. Good communication and teamwork skills. Work Schedule Part-time position with flexible hours. Seasonal schedule adjustments may be required, including snow removal during winter weather events. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in hot, cold, wet, or snowy conditions. Benefits Flexible part-time schedule.
