Landscape Laborer

This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in horticulture, landscape maintenance, and construction while working outdoors in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy turf and gardens Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, pruning, and landscape shaping Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure optimal watering efficiency Conduct landscape maintenance routines including tree trimming, snow plowing during winter months, and general site cleanup Use equipment such as excavators and other construction machinery under supervision for larger projects Maintain the cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work sites to ensure safety and efficiency Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance preferred Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not required; training will be provided Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods Knowledge of landscaping techniques including hardscape installation, tree care, irrigation systems, and general garden maintenance is desirable Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new skills in landscaping and construction environments Embark on a rewarding career path where your hands-on skills make a real difference!
