Job Description
Are you a student, retiree, or someone looking for a flexible part-time summer job outdoors? Lazy R Campground is seeking a dependable Groundskeeping Assistant to help keep our campground clean, attractive, and welcoming for our guests. Position Summary This seasonal position focuses primarily on maintaining campground grounds and outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate enjoys working independently, takes pride in a job well done, and is comfortable performing physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Responsibilities Mow campground grounds (mostly riding mower, some push mower) Trim grass and weeds with a string trimmer (weed eater) Water landscaping, flowers, and outdoor areas Assist with general campground appearance and upkeep Provide occasional assistance cleaning guest cabins and common areas Report maintenance or safety concerns to management Qualifications Ability to work outdoors for extended periods Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, and standing Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Must be at least 16 years old Prior lawn care or groundskeeping experience is helpful but not required Schedule 16-24 hours per week Monday through Friday mornings Specific start time to be determined Compensation & Benefits $12-$16 per hour, depending on experience 50% employee discount on food and beverages at Innominate Coffeehouse & Bakery, located on-site at the campground
