Landscape, Building and Handy Man Role Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED 2+ years of full time Landscape and maintenance experience Ability to work independently but also work as part of a team, be trustworthy, organized and easy going. Mechanically skilled Routine maintenance and general repair skills of farm equipment including irrigation equipment and landscape equipment. Experience with Heavy equipment operation and snowplowing Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to equipment maintenance and operations. High level of integrity and work ethic while maintaining a good "can do" attitude with strong communication skills. Ability to analyze and identify opportunities to improve current landscape practices and troubleshoot issues. Flexibility to work outside regular hours to respond to emergencies as needed.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job placement for an experienced Landscape, Building and Operations person. This person will be a team member and report to the Land and Building Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Maintaining the landscaped areas, and ensuring irrigation and other ongoing maintenance are completed in a timely manner
Maintaining and repairing all equipment
Weed control
Tree Trimming
Small maintenance repair projects in ranch building
Maintain ranch appearance by mowing, maintaining roads, gates and fences, etc.
Anticipating needed supplies; land and buildings
Other tasks as needed to maintain the property
Shop management; ensuring it is kept clean, organized and well equipped with necessary tools
Snow removal, paths, patios, driveways and roads as need to maintain a safe driving and walking environment during the winter
