Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Residential Lawn Specialist Aerator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on aerating residential lawns to improve soil health and promote lush, vibrant grass growth. Your expertise will help clients achieve their outdoor landscaping goals while adhering to safety protocols and operational standards. Responsibilities Operate lawn aeration equipment efficiently across residential properties to ensure optimal soil aeration. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, and general grounds upkeep. Use hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping and groundskeeping activities. Identify different plant species and assess lawn health to recommend appropriate care strategies. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed. Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Maintain equipment cleanliness, perform routine inspections, and report any mechanical issues promptly. Skills Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate and troubleshoot landscaping machinery and power tools. Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, and groundskeeping practices. Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture principles, and pesticide management. Knowledge of irrigation systems, hardscape features, and tree trimming techniques. Strong outdoor work experience with a focus on safety protocol adherence. Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, and snow plows when necessary.
