Duties Conduct thorough inspections of lawns and landscapes to identify pest problems, turf diseases, or nutrient deficiencies. Apply fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn treatment products accurately and safely using hand tools, power tools, or machinery. Operate vehicles such as trucks and trailers to reach customer sites efficiently while maintaining a clean driving record. Use equipment to prepare soil, aerate turf, or perform other maintenance tasks that promote healthy growth. Communicate with customers to explain treatment plans, answer questions about lawn health, and provide recommendations for ongoing care. Follow safety protocols diligently when handling chemicals and operating machinery to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, equipment used, and customer interactions for quality assurance and compliance. Qualifications Prior experience in sales, pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, agriculture or related fields is highly desirable. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and landscaping equipment is essential. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for safe vehicle operation during service routes. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels throughout the day. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Basic knowledge of pest control methods and lawn treatment products is a plus. Willingness to learn new techniques related to agriculture and environmental management.
