Job Description
Position Summary Very unique opportunity for a Certified Spray Tech to service our clients in the East Valley. Autonomous position that is also a key member of our larger on•site landscape maintenance team. Qualified candidates will have their State Certification in non-agricultural (turf, ornamental) herbicides and fertilizers Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Treat specific insect, weed, turf diseases and nutritional deficiencies by application of appropriate product Complete sprays and treatment based on contract and schedule Maintenance of power spray equipment and the ability to maintain it while keeping it clean and in mechanically sound condition at all times The ability to ensure that all field equipment complies with federal, state and local regulations Responsibility for chemical oversight and compliance related to crew completion of chemical check-out sheets Maintenance of accurate records for chemical usage according to all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations Use good judgment in the application of chemicals (exposure to the public, weather conditions and other environmental considerations) Provide and maintain safe physical conditions for employees assigned to spray duties, per OSHA standards Adhere to all driving safety policies and regulations Other duties as requested, directed or assigned by management Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies Expertise in herbicide, pesticides and turf management with comprehensive knowledge of appropriate treatment for specific insect, weed, turf diseases and nutritional deficiencies Detail oriented with highly efficient organizational skills, effective time management and excellent follow up Safety oriented Able to work in a fast-paced work environment, multi-task to meet deliverables with limited supervision Keen attention to detail Education/Experience/Licenses 21+ years of age•required Possess Arizona Certified Applicator License•required Minimum 1 year experience as a
