In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining lawns, landscapes, and gardens through expert use of hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment. Duties Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning to ensure lawns and landscapes are pristine and well-maintained Operate various landscaping equipment including lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and power tools safely and efficiently Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, fertilizing, weed control, and irrigation system adjustments Assist with hardscape projects like installing patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and basic tree health assessments Use excavators and other construction machinery for site preparation or landscape installation projects Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris and ensuring safety standards are met at all times Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate and troubleshoot lawn care and landscaping equipment Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators used in construction or landscape projects Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant health care and soil management Ability to perform tree trimming, pruning, and general tree care safely and effectively Experience with irrigation systems installation or maintenance is a plus Basic understanding of snow plowing techniques for seasonal maintenance work Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions Strong attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to safety and quality standards Embark on a career that combines physical activity with creativity!
