Job Summary Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Mowing Tech/Landscaping Laborer and become a vital part of transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. In this energetic role, you will operate a variety of lawn care and landscape maintenance equipment, perform groundskeeping tasks, and assist with landscape projects that enhance the beauty and health of residential and commercial properties. Duties Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas efficiently. Assist with landscape installation projects including planting, edging, mulching, and hardscape work such as patios or walkways. Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning trees and shrubs, weed control, fertilization, and irrigation system checks. Use hand tools and small machinery like excavators for site preparation or minor construction tasks. Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper maintenance and safety standards are met. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot lawn care equipment and power tools effectively. Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is highly desirable. Familiarity with landscaping techniques including planting, pruning, hardscape installation, and irrigation systems. Ability to use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and wheelbarrows confidently. Knowledge of equipment like excavators or snow plows is a plus for supporting construction or winter operations. Strong understanding of tree care practices including trimming and health assessment. Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when needed.
