Duties:

Laying defined trails for bloodhounds to learn scent trailing and discrimination. Cleaning, disinfecting, and organizing animal living spaces to promote health and comfort. Handle dogs with care using proper techniques; assist in training or socialization activities as needed. Providing basic animal care, including feeding, grooming, administering medications, and observing health conditions. Perform lifting when necessary to move supplies or equipment related to trail work or kennel maintenance.

Skills and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent. One year of experience in similar position. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, running short distances, walking long distances, and outdoor labor in various weather conditions. Interact with the public and team members alike. Willingness to learn is essential.
