About Coastal Cares Coastal Cares is a premier estate-level landscape and property care company serving ultra-high-end residential clients throughout Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Palm Beach. We provide white-glove landscape care, landscape installation, and plant health services for luxury residential properties. As we continue expanding our Plant Health Care division, we are seeking an experienced and professional Lawn & Ornamental Pest Control Technician to join our team. Position Overview We are hiring a Lawn & Ornamental Pest Control Technician to perform fertilization, pest control, disease management, and plant health care services throughout our portfolio of high-end residential estates. This position does not require a Florida Pest Control Operator's License. However, candidates must possess a valid Florida Pest Control Employee Identification Card in the Lawn & Ornamental category or be eligible to obtain one through Coastal Cares. This is not an entry-level position. We are seeking an experienced technician who understands turf and ornamental care, follows treatment protocols carefully, and can represent the Coastal Cares brand with professionalism. Responsibilities Perform lawn and ornamental inspections at residential properties Identify common turf, shrub, palm, and ornamental pest and disease issues Apply fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, and other approved treatments Follow established Plant Health Care programs and treatment schedules Perform preventative and corrective treatments as directed Properly mix, calibrate, load, and apply materials Maintain accurate treatment records, application logs, and service documentation Follow all product labels, safety procedures, and Florida regulatory requirements Communicate property concerns and treatment recommendations to management Provide courteous and professional service while working on luxury residential properties Maintain assigned company vehicle, spray equipment, tools, and inventory Operate spray rigs and related application equipment safely and responsibly Manage an assigned route efficiently and complete scheduled services on time Required Qualifications Previous lawn and ornamental pest control, fertilization, or Plant Health Care experience Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record Valid Florida Pest Control Employee Identification Card in Lawn & Ornamental, or ability to obtain one Working knowledge of South Florida turf, shrubs, palms, ornamentals, pests, and diseases Knowledge of proper chemical mixing, calibration, and application procedures Ability to read and follow pesticide labels and treatment instructions Ability to work independently and manage a service route efficiently Professional appearance and strong communication skills Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Preferred Experience Lawn fertilization and weed-control programs Ornamental insect and disease treatments Integrated Pest Management practices Plant Health Care programs Spray-rig operation and calibration High-touch residential client service Experience servicing estate-level or luxury residential properties Physical Requirements Ability to work outdoors year-round in the South Florida climate Ability to lift and carry equipment, materials, and chemical containers Ability to walk residential properties and remain active throughout the workday Comfortable operating spray rigs, hoses, backpack sprayers, and related equipment Ability to safely load and unload materials and equipment What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Stable, year-round employment Consistent service routes High-end residential client portfolio Professional and organized work environment Company vehicle and required application equipment Training and licensing support Opportunities for advancement within a rapidly growing company
