This position is responsible for fertilizer, weed control, and turf health applications on commercial and residential properties throughout Central Iowa. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working outdoors, and is interested in building a long-term career in the green industry. Licensed applicators are encouraged to apply, but we are also willing to train the right candidate and assist them in obtaining their Iowa Commercial Applicator License.

Compensation & Benefits Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour based on experience, qualifications, and licensing. Potential company vehicle for qualified employees. Holiday pay available after 90 days of employment. Responsibilities Apply fertilizer, herbicide, pesticide, and specialty turf treatments according to label requirements and company standards. Diagnose turf, weed, insect, and disease issues and communicate recommendations. Maintain accurate application records in compliance with Iowa regulations. Calibrate, maintain, and clean application equipment. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment. Assist with commercial mowing and landscape operations as needed during slower treatment periods. Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and team members. Follow all company safety procedures and state and federal regulations. Preferred Qualifications Iowa Commercial Applicator License (3OT) or ability to obtain one. Experience in turf care, lawn treatments, landscaping, or grounds maintenance. Mechanically inclined with the ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs. Experience operating commercial mowers, spray equipment, spreaders, and other landscape equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Required Qualifications Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Ability to lift 50+ pounds. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
