This position is responsible for maintaining residential and commercial properties through mowing, trimming, landscaping, irrigation support, seasonal cleanups, and general grounds maintenance. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, operates equipment safely, and takes pride in delivering high-quality service to customers. Lawn Maintenance Mow lawns using commercial mowing equipment Trim and edge around sidewalks, driveways, trees, and flower beds Blow off sidewalks, patios, and parking lots after service Apply fertilizer, weed control, and lawn treatments as directed Monitor lawn health and identify pest, disease, or irrigation issues Landscaping Duties Install mulch, rock, sod, plants, shrubs, and trees Assist with landscape construction projects Prune bushes, hedges, and small trees Remove weeds and maintain flower beds Perform seasonal cleanup including leaf removal and debris hauling Equipment & Safety Operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely Load and unload tools, trailers, and materials Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines Maintain clean and organized work vehicles and trailers Customer Service Communicate professionally with customers on-site Address customer concerns respectfully and promptly Represent the company in a positive and professional manner Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous lawn care or landscaping experience required Ability to operate commercial landscaping equipment Valid driver's license preferred Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to lift 50-75 pounds regularly Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Skills Knowledge of lawn treatments and irrigation systems Experience driving trucks and trailers Understanding of plant and tree care Attention to detail and time management Bilingual (English) is a plus Work Environment Outdoor work in heat, cold, rain, and humidity Physically demanding work including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for long periods Exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and landscaping equipment
