Job Description

Description:
Independently performs complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer agricultural equipment, with a focus in Commercial Application Equipment repair. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager or ASP Complete Goods Rep.
Responsibilities:
Performs complex diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products, with a focus in Commercial Application Equipment Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge Reviews and explains any maintenance, repair, or other service concerns directly with the customer and documents on work order May promote and sell dealer service programs directly to customers Maintains the condition of service vehicles, trailers, tools and equipment Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignments Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties May perform pre-delivery set-up and inspection on new equipment Maintains a safe working environment and adheres to company safety program at all times Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
3+ years of experience performing service repairs with a focus in Commercial Application Equipment John Deere Master Service Technician preferred Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to perform complex repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred Valid driver's license required
Pay Range:
$22.00 - $40.00 per hour. Eligible for Technician Performance program in addition to hourly rate.
