Job Summary Join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team as a Lawn Technician, where you will play a vital role in maintaining beautiful, healthy landscapes for our clients. This energetic position involves applying lawn care treatments, operating various tools and machinery, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Your expertise in pest control, chemical handling, and outdoor work will help deliver exceptional results and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform lawn care services including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aeration, and overseeding to promote healthy turf growth Apply pesticides, herbicides, and other chemical agents following strict safety protocols and pesticide management guidelines Operate power tools, hand tools, farm machinery, and company vehicles safely and efficiently during daily tasks Conduct pest control treatments targeting insects and other pests using integrated pest management techniques Use ladders safely for tree trimming or applying treatments at elevated heights while adhering to ladder safety procedures Handle chemical agents responsibly by following proper storage, handling procedures, and respiratory protection standards Maintain detailed records of pesticide applications, pest control activities, and safety protocol adherence for compliance purposes Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience in lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture preferred Knowledge of pesticide application methods, pest control practices, and entomology fundamentals Mechanical knowledge of farm machinery, power tools, hand tools, and ladder use safety procedures Familiarity with confined space entry safety procedures and chemical agent handling protocols Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about services performed Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly and follow safe driving practices Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy equipment or materials, and perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions Join us to make a tangible difference in outdoor spaces while advancing your skills in lawn care and pest management!
