Job Description

Crisfield Housing Authority Location:
Crisfield, MD The Crisfield Housing Authority is seeking a dependable and hardworking Lawn Care Technician for a full-time position to help maintain our grounds and outdoor spaces. We are looking for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to keeping our properties safe, clean, and attractive for residents and visitors.
Responsibilities:
Perform regular lawn mowing, edging, and trimming of grass areas. Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees by mulching, pruning, and watering as needed. Remove debris, trash, and leave's from common areas and walkways. Apply fertilizers and pesticides responsibly according to safety guidelines. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, weed trimmers, and leaf blowers. Assist with seasonal tasks including snow removal and preparation of outdoor spaces for community events. Report any landscaping or groundskeeping issues to management and collaborate with other maintenance staff as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or grounds maintenance is a plus but not required. Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs. Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a background check.
