Job Description

Responsibilities Must be able to work at least 3 days weekly, 8 hours daily. Flexible in scheduling and days. Must be able to drive a truck with different size trailers. Conduct groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding, and mulching. Perform tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and maintain safety. Irrigate landscapes effectively to ensure optimal plant health. Assist in hardscape projects, including the installation of patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks. Dig, build, and maintain garden beds, ensuring proper soil health and plant placement. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge for the upkeep of landscaping equipment. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
Skills Physical Requirements:
Experience operating a truck and trailer; ability to safely transport goods. Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of plants, soil, and proper care. Experience in pruning, planting, mowing, mulching, and irrigation. Proficient in operating lawnmowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and skid steers. (Optional) Ability to read or create landscape designs.
Safety and Compliance:
Knowledge of tool, equipment, and PPE use. Familiarity with regulations on pesticides, water, and construction.
Personal Qualities:
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong time management, teamwork, and communication.
Experience and Education:
Experience in landscaping or related fields. (Optional) Certifications in pesticide application, arborist, or design. High school diploma or GED.
Customer Service:
Ability to interact with clients and maintain professional appearance.
Tools & Technology:
Comfortable with power tools and landscaping machinery. Basic knowledge of landscape design software.
