In this energetic position, you will operate specialized farm machinery and power tools to accurately apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other soil amendments across diverse farming, landscaping, and land development projects. Your expertise will help optimize crop yields, maintain healthy landscapes, and ensure environmentally responsible practices. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in agriculture, pest control, lawn care, and land management while contributing to sustainable farming operations. Duties Safely operate farm machinery, power tools, and hand tools to apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides with precision. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Prepare application areas by setting up equipment and calibrating spray systems for accurate delivery. Drive company vehicles to transport equipment and materials between job sites efficiently. Assist with land preparation tasks such as grading, leveling, or clearing using appropriate machinery. Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations during application processes. Maintain detailed records of applications performed, including quantities used and locations covered for reporting purposes. Skills Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, including fertilizer application, pest control, lawn care, and landscaping techniques. Experience operating farm machinery such as sprayers, spreaders, tractors, or similar equipment. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools for maintenance and setup tasks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for safe transportation between sites. Ability to read technical manuals and calibration instructions accurately. Excellent attention to detail to ensure precise application and adherence to safety standards. Good physical stamina for operating equipment outdoors in various weather conditions.
