Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Chemical Applicator and play a vital role in maintaining beautiful, healthy outdoor environments. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for safely applying fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other landscape chemicals to enhance the aesthetic appeal and health of lawns, gardens, and commercial landscapes. Your expertise will help ensure lush, vibrant landscapes while adhering to safety standards and environmental regulations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical skills with outdoor work in a fast-paced, rewarding setting. Duties Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized spraying equipment to apply landscape chemicals accurately across various sites. Prepare chemical mixtures according to manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines before application. Conduct site assessments to determine the appropriate chemical treatments needed for pest control, weed management, or lawn care. Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations during chemical application to protect yourself, colleagues, clients, and the environment. Maintain detailed records of chemical usage, application locations, weather conditions, and any observations during treatments. Drive company vehicles to transport equipment and chemicals between job sites efficiently. Assist with general landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and soil preparation when needed to support company needs. Skills MDARD certification in 3A, 3B, 6, 7A and 7F required. Strong knowledge of lawn care practices, pest control methods, landscaping principles, and agricultural best practices. Experience with sales or customer service to effectively communicate treatment plans and recommendations to clients. Proficiency in handling hand tools, power tools, and other equipment used in landscape maintenance. Valid chauffeur's driver's license with a clean driving record; comfortable operating company vehicles safely on various terrains. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a high level of safety awareness. Good physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; ability to lift heavy equipment or materials as required. Understanding of environmental safety standards related to chemical use and pest control applications.
