Job Description

Lawn Care Technician (Certification Required) Join Michigan's largest landscape management company as a Lawn Care Technician! Our Lawn Care Technicians are State of Michigan Certified Pesticide Applicators, applying fertilizers as well as treating for weeds, insects, & turf diseases. Team Member Benefits

Michigan Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (Categories 3A, 3B, & 6 mandatory) is required.
1 Year of commercial lawn care experience, including operation of ride-on spreader A chauffeur's driver's license is required. Experience driving a truck w/ trailer is required.
Basic math skills associated with accurately measuring and mixing pesticides, as well as calibrating spreaders to directed application rates Possess a Smart phone and use to track time and material, as well as navigate to properties The capacity to work independently or with a crew General working knowledge of proper lawn and landscape management practices, including basic grass, weed, & disease identification Flexible attitude open to helping in other areas of the business when needed Ability to lift 50 pound bags of fertilizer DJ's Landscape Management is a drug-free workplace.
