Job Overview Join our dynamic landscape maintenance team as a Lawn Technician Trimmer, where you'll play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves operating various hand tools and power equipment to trim, shape, and care for lawns, shrubs, trees, and other landscape features. Responsibilities Main Job Operate trimmers for lawn, hedge cutters, blowers, and other power tools to trim grass, bushes, trees, and hedges with precision and care Assist with lawn mowing, edging, pruning, and general landscape upkeep to ensure pristine outdoor environments Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and saws for detailed landscaping tasks Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to promote healthy plant growth Perform basic equipment maintenance and safety checks to ensure optimal operation of tools and machinery Collaborate with team members on landscape projects Skills Mechanical knowledge of power tools and landscaping equipment Strong lawn care skills including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing Experience with landscape maintenance techniques such as pruning, planting, and soil preparation Knowledge of gardening principles and horticulture practices Ability to operate excavators or other construction machinery is a plus Familiarity with tree care including trimming and removal techniques Excellent hand tool handling skills for detailed landscaping work Basic understanding of irrigation systems and snow plowing procedures Good physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions Strong safety awareness when using power tools and heavy equipment This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in landscaping while contributing to beautiful outdoor spaces.
