Job Description
Seasonal Lawn Care & Christmas Light Technician — Temp-to-Hire Yard Boss is hiring a Seasonal Lawn Care and Christmas Light Technician to help with fall aeration, overseeding, and custom Christmas light installations. This is an entry-level position, and no previous experience is required. We provide hands-on training, modern equipment, and the support needed to succeed. This position also provides an opportunity to earn a permanent, full-time role as a Lawn Technician in Training . Seasonal employees may be considered for full-time employment based on attendance, work ethic, coachability, safety, quality of work, teamwork, and their ability to deliver an excellent client experience. Responsibilities During aeration and overseeding season, you will: Work with another team member to aerate and overseed customers' lawns Operate stand-on aerators and seeding equipment Load, unload, clean, and maintain equipment Drive a company truck between the Crete shop and customer properties Communicate with the office to ensure jobs are completed accurately and efficiently Treat customers and their properties with care and professionalism During Christmas light season, you will: Work with a crew of two or three team members Install custom-fit Christmas lights on homes and businesses Work safely on ladders and along rooflines Install, test, and troubleshoot lighting displays Load, organize, and care for lighting materials and equipment Maintain a clean and organized company truck Requirements Valid driver's license Clean and insurable driving record Comfortable driving a company truck Comfortable working on ladders and rooflines Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic Willingness to learn and follow instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a crew Good communication skills Commitment to safe, efficient, and high-quality work No previous lawn care, aeration, seeding, or Christmas light installation experience is required.
