About Kanger Lawns Kanger Lawns mission is to help residents save time by providing convenient, reliable, and thorough landscaping services. Overview of Job We are looking at adding on to our fertilizing and weed control division by adding another team mate. Your roll would be to improve peoples yards, apply the correct amount of products, and catch problems developing with lawns. This is a great position that at a minimum we need someone who can work solo, pay attention to details, and learn our program. We would love and welcome someone with experience as well especially with fungus, molds, soil health, and keeping weeds from landscaping and concrete areas. If you have your license or a few years experience, we would love to give you the tools and resources to be the head of our fertilizing division as we grow. Main Responsibilities Apply fertilizer and spray for weeds in turf grass. Have an eye for detail with the types of weeds in a lawn, amount of product being used, and any developing problems. Have a good conversation with customers in the field about their lawn. Use company ap to track job times, drive to jobs, read job notes, and communicate about individual job details. Drive company truck and sometimes a trailer safely throughout town. Operate a lean to stear spreader sprayer, push spreader on occasion, hand sprayers, and a stand on aerator. Working through a variety of weather conditions like: great spring weather, hot humid summer days, cold snow days in the winter, and wet rain days on occasion. Physical work involving lift bags of fertilizer and moving branches. Preferably be able to identify fungus, molds, or other problems developing with lawns (can train for this). Preferably work towards mixing chemicals with training. Your Contributions & Who We are Looking for 1 season of fertilizing experience required. Licensed applicator for Nebraska Category 4 preferred.   • Friday 35-45 hours per week Generally 9 hour days dependent on the weather. On Rainy weeks work days can change to ensure our route is finished Pay range is generally $18
  • 26/hr, but no limit to those with experience and great attitudes. Performance bonuses up to $2
  • 4/hr or more with good execution in the field.
