Lawn Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

Perform regular lawn maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, and trimming grass to ensure a neat and well-manicured appearance. Prune and trim shrubs, bushes, and hedges to maintain their shape and promote healthy growth. Perform weed control activities, including applying herbicides and removing weeds by hand to maintain a weed-free lawn. Maintain and operate a variety of lawn maintenance equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers. Install and maintain landscape features, such as flower beds, mulch, rocks, and decorative elements. Collaborate with team members to complete larger landscaping projects, such as sod installation or garden redesigns. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment storage. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in lawn maintenance, landscaping, or a related field is preferred but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate a passion for the job. Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, including mowing patterns, edging methods, and shrub trimming. Ability to safely and efficiently operate lawn maintenance equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality workmanship. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Basic knowledge of plant identification and care is a plus.
