Part-Time Equipment & Shop Mechanic Quality Lawn Care Albuquerque, NM Pay:

We're currently seeking a dependable Part-Time Equipment & Shop Mechanic to help maintain our fleet of commercial lawn equipment, trailers, and vehicles. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently. Benefits Flexible Part-Time Schedule (Approximately 20 hours per week) Competitive Hourly Pay Family-Oriented Work Environment Employee Appreciation Meals & Incentives Long-Term Opportunity Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on commercial lawn equipment. Diagnose and repair small engines, mowers, trimmers, blowers, and related equipment. Perform routine maintenance on company trucks and trailers. Complete oil changes, blade replacements, belt replacements, and general servicing. Maintain maintenance records and equipment service schedules. Keep the shop organized and maintain a clean work environment. Identify equipment concerns before they become major repairs. Communicate equipment needs with ownership. Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous small engine or equipment repair experience required. Experience repairing commercial lawn equipment preferred. Experience working on trucks and trailers is a plus. Valid Driver's License preferred. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and work in various positions throughout the day. Ability to regularly lift tools, equipment, and repair components. Ability to safely operate hand and power tools. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
