Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Lawn Care / Grounds Technician Lead. The primary responsibility is ensuring the maintenance of our clients' lawns through various maintenance tasks. This role requires someone who is passionate about outdoor work, possesses excellent attention to detail, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service. During inclement weather you will be performing other maintenance duties such as painting, apartment cleanouts, equipment maintenance or helping with other labor oriented tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
Drive company truck & trailer. Perform routine lawn maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing to maintain the overall appearance of lawns. Operate and maintain lawn care equipment and tools in safe working condition. Keep accurate records of services provided, materials used, and any issues encountered. Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Conduct routine property inspections. Perform apartment cleanouts. Assist Lead maintenance tech's with painting, and other repairs.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or related field preferred. Knowledge of lawn care techniques, equipment, and materials. Experience towing trailers. Ability to operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. General maintenance experience
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). Stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods. Comfortable using hand and power tools for extended periods.
