Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Certified Pesticide Applicator and play a vital role in safeguarding agricultural, landscaping, and pest control environments through expert pesticide application. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your technical skills to ensure safe and effective pest management solutions. As a key contributor, you will help clients maintain healthy lawns, crops, and landscapes while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise will directly impact the health of the environment and the success of our clients' projects. Duties Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers accurately according to label instructions and safety protocols to control pests and promote healthy growth. Conduct inspections of properties to identify pest issues, assess treatment needs, and recommend appropriate solutions. Operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently during application processes. Maintain detailed records of pesticide applications, including dates, locations, chemicals used, and environmental conditions. Drive company vehicles to various job sites while ensuring compliance with all driving safety regulations. Assist with lawn care, farming activities, or landscaping projects as needed to support overall property maintenance efforts. Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and proper pesticide handling procedures to promote ongoing environmental health. Requirements Valid certification as a Pesticide Applicator in accordance with state or local regulations. Proven experience in pest control, lawn care, farming, or landscaping environments. Strong knowledge of pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and their appropriate application methods. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment safely. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for transporting equipment and personnel. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy equipment when necessary. Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members professionally. $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
