In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality lawn and landscape areas through precise mowing, trimming, and general groundskeeping. Your expertise will help create beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces that enhance the environment and meet client expectations. Responsibilities Operate lawn mowers, including riding and push mowers, to ensure well-manicured lawns and turf areas. Use hand tools and power tools for edging, trimming, and detailed landscape maintenance. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, and tree care to promote healthy growth. Assist with irrigation system setup, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal watering schedules. Conduct snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe. Maintain equipment through routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs to ensure safety and efficiency. Support hardscape projects by preparing surfaces and assisting with installation of features like pathways or patios when needed. Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining lawn equipment and power tools. Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly desirable. Familiarity with landscaping techniques including tree trimming, horticulture practices, and irrigation systems. Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, as well as power tools like trimmers or blowers. Knowledge of snow plowing equipment and techniques for winter groundskeeping is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety procedures during equipment operation. Prior experience with excavators or other construction machinery is advantageous but not required.
